Computer Dating Is The Easiest And Quickest Way To Find Your Soul Mate

By Russ J. Paulson

One of the hardest things to experience during the holidays is feelings of loneliness if you are in between relationships. No matter what your religious beliefs are, something about seeing all those happy couples out walking around can be hard to take if you are by yourself.

Naturally, this is a huge motivating factor for single people. For this reason, there is a huge spike in new relationships around this time. The winter holiday season is responsible for more couples getting together than any other time of year.

If you are looking for somebody to share the holidays with, or somebody to share your whole life with, you are in good company. It is part of the natural part of life to meet somebody, and start a family. That of course that you must go through the process of actually meeting people and choosing who you want to spend your life with.

A great edge you have today that nobody else had in the history of the world before you is computer dating. Online dating has literally exploded in the last few years. More and more people are choosing computer dating as the method of choice for finding their ideal partner.

Even though it is much easier, quicker, and more convenient, finding somebody online still requires the same skills as finding somebody off line. You will need to identify the person you are looking for, and you will need to identify the qualities that you possess that somebody else might find attractive.

You'll be surprised how easy it is once you start. Most people find that only after a week or so they are sending emails back and for with several people, several times a day. And before you know it, you'll be meeting new people in person on a regular basis. - 31877

The Coffee I Won't Stop Thinking About

By Alan Curtis

Living in a big city, I can choose from about ten different coffee makers within a few blocks of my apartment. This is a great thing that I definitely try to take advantage of.

Very recently, I saw a new coffee maker in my neighborhood that I decided to try out. Little did I know that I would soon drink a cup of the best coffee I had ever tried.

Stumptown Coffee Roasters is a Portland chain with a very homegrown approach. While they've maintained a limited number of locations, the company's owner recently relocated to Brooklyn, bringing about a few new locations in the New York area.

Many patrons of Stumptown praise the high quality of the entire menu, but I've stuck with the regular house brew so far and it's excellent. The cafe lattes and the cappuccinos are said by many to be even better than the regular coffee.

Interestingly enough, the prices aren't much higher than those that you'd find at a Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts. This is a great thing when you consider the difference in the quality of the beans. One negative is the fact that they only accept cash, though I don't know if that's specific to the location I've been to.

Many share my love for Stumptown Coffee Roasters, and the brand has won numerous awards, not to mention the heaps of praise one could easily find for the coffee maker by searching for reviews online.

I've seen people on both the East coast and the West coast claiming that Stumptown brews the best coffee they've ever had. It's rare to find a brand that wins such universal acclaim, especially in coffee cities like Seattle.

If you have a Stumptown near you, consider yourself lucky and try it out. If you don't, hope that the chain expands, and take advantage of any traveling opportunity you may get and try it out. - 31877

Mastering Remote Viewing How-To Methods

By Russell Jordan

Are you interested in learning some of the remote viewing how to tricks? It's a rather interesting topic and it's based around a theory that you can see things. That is to say you can see things that you are not physically present to see in the first place.

When you learn remote viewing, you are able to find out things that you otherwise wouldn't have known, or at least not have known until later on.

When you learn how to master remote viewing, you will find that it is an ability that helps you greatly in several ways. First of all, it will show you that you have an amazing ability to do things that many others cannot. It will make you feel a sense of worth, and if you want you can teach others to do the same thing.

Learning remote viewing will also give you a boost of confidence. It will tell you who you are, and you will feel more positive.

When you practice remote viewing how to, you will find that it teaches you new things and makes you seem a little more fortunate. Would you believe that the ability to see things that are not currently present is something that every single person has? It's really not too hard to grasp!

One example of remote viewing would be that deja vu feeling that so many people have had. Just about anyone will admit to having it. The subconscious mind is very powerful; perhaps the most powerful force on earth.

The mind is what gives everything its power, but the power ultimately begins with the person. It is you who allows that power to become manifested in another person, belief, or thing.

These remote viewing how to methods are only one of a couple methods that you can utilize to free your mind. The best way to start is to find a place in the home which is quiet, and a place that will allow you to concentrate.

Each day, take some time out to sit down and meditate. What you are going to be doing is attempting to get your brainwaves down to one and four times per second. Normally, when people are at the conscious level, their brain waves are operating at-- and 30 times per second.

To slow your brainwaves down, relaxing your body and mind is a must. What you will want to do is try to count in reverse starting at ten while breathing slowly. After every breath, think of all the different things that are bothering you. Then think of them simply exiting your body.

This particular remote viewing how to technique will allow you to get deep inside of your own mind. Spend about 30 minutes getting really calm and relaxed. Allow thoughts to pass through your mind, but don't pay them too much attention if you are still tense, just imagine them passing by and leaving. Try not to fight any thoughts that enter your mind once you start to become very relaxed because those are more than likely messages from your deeper consciousness.

Next you're going to need to take a look at yourself and your surroundings. The next thing that you are going to need to do is pretend to be someone else, somewhere else, look at yourself in the room. Look at yourself, observe everything, look down to the smallest detail with your eyes shut.

As you do this again and again, you'll become better at seeing people, and places, and many other things that aren't close to you. It will take some time, but eventually it will become second nature to you. This means that you're going to have to do this a couple times per week if you can.

When you've learned quite a bit about this remote viewing how to and the way it works, it's time to try some practical use. Sit down and try to meditate. You may just find that your mind brings you somewhere else entirely. You might not understand it at first, but after a while, you'll begin to turst what's happening around you. - 31877

Karaoke is More than an Empty Orchestra

By Sage VonWaylon

Everyone needs to have fun once in a while. Although most of us get caught up in our daily, more serious issues, it is important to find some time to relax in the time we have left in our busy lives to enjoy some of the lighter things in life.

Everyone has their day to day activities which prevent them from enjoying every minute of their day. You don't need PhD in human psychology to know that most people wish they were working less. However, work by its very definition means that it isn't the most enjoyable part of the day, yet most people don't actively seek to replenish their inner need for fun. There is a significant part of mental health that is critical to finding activities that rejuvenate the mind.

Watching and observing other activities is a form of relaxation that requires very little energy and which many people enjoy. Sporting events such as hockey, football, baseball; attending a live theatre, ballet, opera or concerts; reading or watching TV is often something that many people gravitate to partly because it transports us out of our own life and into the adventures, challenges or emotions of other individual's lives. For many people this is a form of distraction and escape from the stresses of their lives which appears to be a healthy relief. That said, I think that quite often many individuals also fall in the rut of losing themselves in others lives and would benefit from adding interactive participation into other forms of entertainment that they enjoy. Perhaps it would be more satisfying to stay in the realm of one's own life more often and get up and DO something!

Getting involved in self actualizating activities is easier than most people think. Joining sports teams, going out dancing, playing pool or darts, or learning an instrument are all obvious forms. The big challenge is often to motivate yourself to actually get energy to engage yourself! One really easy activity that you can do, is find a local Karaoke bar and get up and sing! Many people are self conscious of this because they are afraid that they won't be very good. The most important part however, is that people try new and challenging things. The act of karaoke itself is not the challenge, it is building courage to do it!

Most people however do not do enough pushing of their own potential. It can be quite challenging to get started doing something that will make you feel like you are growing as an individual. The interesting thing is that it will typically become quite addictive and pretty soon you will be wanting to do more and more. It is even contagious and many or your peers will find themselves motivated to do more too.

Karaoke as a Personal Self Confidence Device:

You don't need to be a good singer to feel the benefits of Karaoke. In fact, some of the best ones are those with the confidence to do songs that suit their singing styles with a tinge of tongue in cheek. Pick the most flamboyant pop song, and do the dance in the music video, or sing it with everything you have. The real benefit is not in being great, it is in getting up in front of a group of strangers and bringing a smile to their faces. Karaoke bars are pretty nonjudgmental and you shouldn't fear being scorned for your attempts. Most of the time joy, laughter and applause ensues!

Karaoke itself has it's history based in Japan meaning empty orchestra. One version of its origin is of a bar owner putting on a tape when the performer failed to show for a concert. He asked if anyone wanted to get up and do some singing, and the crowd went wild! The night was such a success that it was rumored to have carried on and spread through Japan until finding international acclaim as a fun pub activity.

Now a days, the technology has become much better. With words being displayed on a TV, indicating timing and rhythm. The song quality is generally much better and the voice track is removed for people to replace with their own renditions. There is a real following and many people are quite passionate about it and are involved weekly.

There is a quality of the stage that enlivens people more than any other place. It is getting up in front of people, putting your ego down and simply singing. For those with immense talent (the minority), it gives them a chance to feel like a star for a night and sing over an amplified system where people are actually listening. In any case, it provides a great opportunity to overcome the fear of being in the spotlight and has done some great things for self actualization in many.

So, although Karaoke is a Japanese word that means 'empty orchestra", it translates into 'fun' for many people all over the world.

Certainly there are others like myself who find it difficult to break out of the cycle of waking up and addressing responsibilities and tasks only to find themselves at the end of the day unable to relax due to the never-finished list of things to do. Sleep is a necessity on the list but the cycle continues as we wake up and start all over. Enjoyment and entertainment are often placed far too low on the priority scale for the workaholic prone individuals who run and run but never seem to arrive at their obscure destination. Perhaps it would be healthier and happier for this type of person to place some focus on relaxation and learn to enjoy their lives more often. This is easier said than done for some.

Engaging in other fictional lives is something that we often do to escape our own problems. This is prevalent in watching TV, be it sports, sitcoms, dramas or movies. Others will go to concerts to watch bands and enjoy the way music makes them feel. These are called passive entertainment modules as they do not involve doing anything outside of observing what is happening. Although this can be a stress reducer as the individual escapes their own problems and lives through the exciting life of a character, this may not be the best form of self actualization. The deficit in the western world is often staggering. The simple cure for this is to get off the couch and actively do something.

To get involved in something, it can be as easy as strapping on a pair of running shoes and seeing what it feels like to run again. Call up a friend, or ask your spouse to come with you to go play a game of pool or darts. You will find that it is quite fulfilling to actually keep learning something new, or refining your skills.

Karaoke as a Personal Self Confidence Device:

Karaoke is an appropriate part of this discussion as it is a form of fun and entertainment that many people enjoy. Karaoke gives you an opportunity to sing, scream, yodel, or whatever floats your boat. Personally, it is emotionally cathartic and very therapeutic, and for many people it has contributed to times of fun and laughter. It is often surprising how entertaining or amusing some people are - people you never realized were so talented. All people should be applauded for their gifts and that all people are stars in their lives. Opportunity, publicity and promotion creates the chasm between the celebrities and those whose talent remains unknown. I say they are all stars, undiscovered or otherwise. Karaoke gives the undiscovered the opportunity to enjoy and share their talent with those around them.

It is rumoured to have originated in Japan, from the words kara meaning empty, and oke (okesutora) meaning orchestra. Apparently, a performer failed to show at a venue one night where a crowd had gathered for a performance. The owner of the bar was said to have put on a tape of songs and asked whether anyone would get up and perform. The night turned into such a success that the bar began having frequent shows without performers and it soon spread across Japan and later the world.

Now a days, the technology has become much better. With words being displayed on a TV, indicating timing and rhythm. The song quality is generally much better and the voice track is removed for people to replace with their own renditions. There is a real following and many people are quite passionate about it and are involved weekly.

Karaoke has become very popular and for many it appears they become 'addicted' to the stage, the microphone, the applause and for many the simple joy of having the opportunity to sing with instruments behind them and a sound system that accentuates their voice. For many it is their only chance to feel like a star and to enjoy the spotlight. For some it is the opportunity to conquer the fear of the stage and learn to feel comfortable with themselves regardless of any 'mistakes' they make. For others it is their chance to express themselves through music and the songs that move them.

So, although Karaoke is a Japanese word that means 'empty orchestra", it translates into 'fun' for many people all over the world. - 31877

Can I Save My Marriage?

By Melissa Alexander

Many couples find themselves asking this question during their wedded lives at some point or other. However much matrimony may seem perfect, there is always scope for improvement. The only way to keep your marriage alive is through good old hard work on both sides. There are small and simple things, which can be done by both spouses to counteract problems and sort them out amicably:

Distinguish the Problem

Communicate with your spouse honestly without any inhibitions regarding the exact nature of the trouble. This is one of the hardest things at times because it makes one really have to take hard look at oneself first. What we see may be unsavory, but once we recognize the issue in its right perspective and discuss it with no holes barred, with our partners, we are already on our way to finding a feasible solution to the Problem.

Meaningful personal interaction

Any relationship lasts when two people speak to each other meaningfully. Your busy schedule might be fully taken by your responsibilities to your work, kids and other family issues may seem to be one of the reasons. Make it a daily habit to spend some quality time with your spouse, simply to keep the lines of communication on. Uprightness and integrity with one's own self and the spouse is critically important here. Communication is important, as we ought to learn to be a good listener as well as stand by our spouses. Communication is the best approach to be able to get to that outcome.

Reverence

The kind of regard you have for each other is yet another major ingredient. Are you in the habit of picking a fight at the drop of a hat? Is using abusive language, calling each other names and mud slinging part of your daily routine? When things seem to falter and not work out that well between the two of you, chances are, you would easily fall into that kind of behaviour. One thing that has truly a big effect on a relationship is the level of your regard for your partner which can actually heal the wounds of the past and help forget mistakes. Was there any difference with your treatment as well as the degree of your tenderness to each other from the first time that you met until today? Can you think of the things that may have made the change?

Loss of affection and connectivity are really big and this is often the situation when the marriage is going sour. Finding time to connect with your partner will help greatly in most cases. Sex is another marital harmony restorer as it promotes physical and mental closeness once again. It may be awkward to think about sexual activity if you're having trouble with your relationship, however, if you see to it that you have time to be intimate with each other, then you can somehow bring back the moments that have spiced up your life. Making a marriage work and saving it from a disaster is indeed an uphill task, but it can have very positive outcome, if both the partners are willing to walk that extra mile to make it work. - 31877
